About

The company that keeps the state.

KeepState is the durable agent session cloud, self-serve on our fleet today. AI agents run inside microVMs whose entire state can be checkpointed, killed, resumed, and forked. Sessions survive kill -9: that sentence is not a slogan, it is a gated claim, and the record that proves it is public.

KeepState was founded in 2026. What exists is a build record: 99 of 100 required gates proven on the current release; nothing blocked; 100 green tags in the ledger. Each gate ran with a sabotage mode that had to fail correctly before it could count, journals were written at the end of every session, and architecture decisions were recorded before the architecture. The dated inventory of what works today, with the claims and their gates, lives on Proof. Writing about KeepState? The checkable facts live on Press facts.

License status: No license granted; all rights reserved. Extraction of the session-protocol specification under Apache-2.0 is planned at the first live design partner, not before. KeepState is self-serve today: sign up in a minute, run a durable agent session, and your first kill-and-resume is free.

Two repositories, one constitution

KeepState publishes customer-facing documentation and dated evidence summaries. We review changes against explicit acceptance criteria and preserve what was tested. Internal engineering records are retained privately. Public product behavior, security boundaries and known limitations are available on Proof, Security and Limits.

Public claims must state their result, date and scope. A historical test does not establish current availability; missing measurement is shown as unavailable rather than zero.

This site and the product are built under a written constitution. The gates, the sabotage runs, and the journals exist because builders are fallible and fast; the discipline is what makes the speed safe to trust. You can read the record and judge it yourself.

When there is more history worth telling, it will appear here the way everything else does: with dates and evidence.
